Hi NuHome Family & Friends,
I hope your 2017 is getting off to a great start! By now, you have probably conquered some of your New Year’s Resolutions….and abandoned others. I heard that about 80% of people end up missing the mark on their goals by mid-February. It’s not easy! One of my personal resolutions is to participate in the Los Angeles Real Estate Rumble this April. To help me stay on track, I’ve hired a coach and have been boxing and training on a regular basis. Despite a broken nose during a practice sparring match, I’m enjoying the challenge. I’ve realized these boxing matches are a lot like business. Your performance is in direct relation to your preparation. I always expect my team (myself included) to provide the best service possible and when it’s time to perform, we want to be the very best. Sometimes we may get knocked down, but our passion for what we do is what drives us to get up again.
I also found these helpful tips for staying on track with your resolutions and wanted to share them with you:
Start Small – don’t overwhelm yourself with unrealistic goals.
Change one habit at a time – focus on one thing at a time and you’re more likely to achieve your goals.
Talk about it – vocalizing your goals is a good way to hold yourself accountable.
Don’t beat yourself up – it’s okay to make mistakes — Stay encouraged and keep going.
Ask for support – surround yourself with people who will be there to support you when you need a helping hand
As we continue throughout the year, the month of February always seems to inspire kids to be crafty with colored paper and scissors to make Valentine’s Day cards for classmates. This kind gesture is always a good reminder for me to express thankfulness and appreciation for those that I have worked with. Clients and Business Partners alike, I’m grateful for each one of you and am honored to have worked with you. People like you are the HEART of our business. Thank you for your continued loyalty and support.
Wishing you a very special Valentine’s Day and a great month of February!
